ACES Coders, organized by ACES, the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Peradeniya is the largest algorithmic programming competition in the country. It is a 12-hour coding competition open to all undergraduates island-wide.

Open to
all undergraduates
of any
recognized higher educational institute or university of Sri Lanka.

Each team must consist of
3 members(or less)
at most.
~$rule_three
All participants should be
present at the venue
during the competition. No participant, under any circumstances is allowed to take part in the competition
online from a remote location.
~$rule_four
Every code submitted at the competition will be checked for
plagiarism.
Copying from the Internet or submitting others' code will
disqualify
a team.

All undergraduates of the Faculty of Engineering, UoP should participate in the Precoders to get qualified into ACES Coders. Registration for the Precoders will be notified through the department.

We have already sent the registration forms to the respective departments. Please contact your head of the department and send us your registration form through them.

ACES Coders v7.0, Sri Lanka's biggest programming competition took place on the 15th of December 2018 with the participance of 300 coders and recognized some of Sri Lanka's top up-and-coming programmers from almost all universities and institutions.

~What should I bring to the competition?
Participants are expected to bring their own laptops and chargers. WiFi access points will be provided. As it is going to be an overnight event, bring anything that is necessary.
~Can I attend ACES Coders virtually?
No, unfortunately, all selected participants will be required to be present on-site to finish the competition.
~What should we do if the head of the department did not receive the registration forms?
Email to aces@eng.pdn.ac.lk mentioning your university/institute and the department. They will get back to you.
~Will food and beverages will be provided?
Yes, they will be provided.
